We wandered in here after having dinner down the street just to see what they had to offer (we are on vacation and had been getting groceries in Hilo up until today). After a strange experience in a grocery store in Hilo (the meat section was unclean and what meat they did have was questionable), we walked in here to find the store clean, well-maintained, and organized. The prices seemed on par with what we've been seeing throughout the big Island, but the selection was impressive given the size of the store.

Under new ownership. Huge improvements in appearance of store. Better stocked, with a nice variety of quality foods. The place to go for grass fed beef. Good customer service. Look forward to my next visit.
It was mostly just in and out. Quick trip. Needed some water after hiking back up waipio road. They also sell guava bread though and I got some. It was really good.
